This is not an AI therapist.

What it is

I created an AI coach for my life and career. I call it Claudia.

It's a project inside Claude, which lets it get better over time. It has my CV and other files about me, and when I ask, it writes new files to keep track of my life. So I don't have to explain my situation every time, and the help is much more specific.

Press and hold

Why I made it

I always liked living my life spontaneously, but at the same time felt guilty for not having a routine, a structure. I felt like I was missing out, on productivity perhaps. Claudia gave me a way to analyse everything, create some understanding and structure and still enjoy the process.

Why it’s useful

The main use is a Weekly Session every Monday. We check my to-do list, look back at the past week and plan the next one, working through a fixed checklist together.

Every three months we hold a Quarterly Review: where my life is heading, whether I’ve kept my commitments, and what to change.

Over time I started bringing it ad hoc tasks too: motivational letters, career decisions, even building this portfolio. The context it has built up makes it useful for almost anything.

It also runs scheduled tasks, like the Runsheet, my job hunter, and a weekly scan for events near me. Again, it knows what I’m after.

What I learned

AI has a context window: a limit on how much of a conversation it can hold at once. Chat in one conversation long enough and the model gets weaker and more confused. So I keep the long-term context in the project’s files, not in the chat, and start a fresh conversation for each Weekly Session. The files carry the memory. The chat stays sharp.

Always ask the AI. If you don’t know how to approach something, ask it to interview you. If you don’t know what context to give it, ask it to ask you. Think the coach could be better? Ask it how it would improve its own instructions. Flipping the roles almost always improves the output.

The more context the better. With the tools and connectors available today, you can give your model a very comprehensive view of your life and enable it to plan your week, suggest things to do, or find flaws in your behaviour. Mine pushes me to take responsibility and avoid procrastination. However, do make sure to keep the context fresh and true.
